As of dinner break chip counts add up to 13,203,000. Total chips in tourney should be 14,800,000. Wonder what players hold those 1,597,000 chips?

Things I learned playing tihs event:
1) Limit tournaments are a surefire way to go on life tilt
2) Freddy Deeb is a very nice guy who will straight up go crazy and snap on anybody who mildly bothers him whenever he's lost a couple pots (he was nice to me but he got in altercations with Nick Frangos and Tuan Le while steaming).
3) The level of play was way lower than I expected: Nick Frangos and Daniel Negreanu played well (although Frangos played a couple hold 'em hands poorly) but everyone else was pretty bad that I played with (either that or unexceptional/unimpressive). D'ags seemed solid but was too shortstacked for me to tell so don't interpret this as a diss of him.

4) Nobody I played with seemed to know how to play limit hold 'em (except for negreanu).
5) A few tables had a person missing early in the tournament and every time somebody sat down late at a different table the people at the tables with open seats celebrated because it meant that there was still a chance Phil Hellmuth would be at their table.

Although I do like the Men Nguyen scenario, I'm going to chalk it up to bad chip count guestimating by the Pokernews staff.

The Pokernews Chip Counts are pretty worthless. It's not bad guesstimating, it's just a broken system. Some players are updated often, others ignored. Click on a player's name to see the updates.

Chip leader Eli Elezra has been updated 10 times since the day started.

Daniel Negreanu has only been updated 4 times. He is currently listed at 180K-- he hasn't been that low since 4pm this afternoon, and is currently sitting just north of 300K.
