you: If I wait to withdraw from Battlefield poker until after April 9th will the entire amount of my withdrawal just be given to my preferred method selected at cashout since neteller will no longer be allowing transfers to/from gambling merchants for Canadians

[/ QUOTE ]

Why on Earth would you wait until after April 9?

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't see why this is such a bad idea as long as support ensures me I can withdraw it another way. I am concerned about putting extra money into my neteller account at the moment. Can you maybe explain why you think it's so dumb to wait? I must have missed something.

[/ QUOTE ]

My bad. For some reason, I was thinking you were going to try to withdraw to Neteller or something.

I'm sure the poker room will allow you to cashout via a different method.

[/ QUOTE ]

ok cool...I was worried for a second there (well, I still am, but for different reasons).

P2P transfers will be expressly allowed, as will the use of the service for non-gaming.

The only bright spot is that this is NOT something required by law and a work around should spring up.

[/ QUOTE ]

Isn't that the exact same thing Neteller told the Americans?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yep, they were expressly saying p2p was OK, even recommending it to some, right up until the second they put the kibosh on it.

This seems better planned than the US pullout, but seriously, don't trust these guys with anything they say.

Thanks for the heads-up Tuco,

It seems NT still works, but it was good to know just in case things went bad.

Anyone try an EFT today? I'd like to know when your money hits your account if you do. Otherwise I guess I'll either be getting Cheques or using the Party cash-outs.

This development has interesting implications.

Seriously, these 2 companies are the center of the non-US poker world... and now they're not playing together? WTF?

Huh? Neteller is cutting off their Canadian gambling customers. Why would PP still list them as a withdrawal option?

Sorry, I was assuming that the poster meant NETeller was gone (as a withdrawal method) for EVERYONE at Party, not just Canadians. I misunderstood.

My bad.
