Some of my dealings with people are ill-advised, sure, but that happens in real life as well. (You may remember the ex-girlfriend thread...)

I've moved money around here and there for people (and once loaned Matusow money to stay in a game I was in, because he sucks), but in terms of actual staking, no, I think I can actually say I've only had staking arrangements with four people on the boards, all of whom are winning players and trustworthy.

I'm just a lot more open about what I do than most people are. That's probably what needs to stop.

Here is where it started: After day 2 of the PCA, I met up with gobbo, PrimeTime, and shaundeeb at the deli for dinner. shaun had just busted, and gobbo had just doubled me up. PrimeTime was still in as well. Locutus2002 also joined us near the end of the meal. We talked about a wide range of topics, and at some point, it turned to HIV. I played with HIV for the last level of the day, and had playfully mentioned to him when he sat down that "I was an employee of the gildwulf corporation during the PCA" since nath had a sizeable percentage of my action in the event. We had a small laugh about it and went on with play.

Shaun started talking about how him and tongni had discussed using HIV's account after he busted out to sit in the highest stakes games that people could believe HIV could afford to play with the PCA money. Tongni would sit in the game using HIV's account and bait people into taking shots and absolutely destroy them. At the time, I didn't think anything of it, since I didn't think they'd specifically target nath and gildwulf.


Fast forward to tonight: my roommate at the PCA, EC10, and I were heading to the lobby of the Coral Tower, where everyone is on their laptop gambling, to meet up with Jurollo, coxquinn, BadgerPro, TwistedEcho, and several others. Since it's taking a while to get everyone together, I went to the bar and ordered a glass of wine and started chatting with AaronBeen and KUSH. A few minutes into the conversation, HIV comes up to me and asks me if I have nath's phone number. I tell him I do, but it's on my phone back in the hotel room. I told him that if he wanted to get it, to walk with me back to the room and I'd give it to him.

About halfway down the long corridor between the first wing and the library, I realize that they might be setting nath and gildwulf up, so I asked HIV straight up if this is what their plan was because shaun had talked to me about the plan two nights earlier, and HIV said no.

We got into the room and I gave HIV the number, fully believing that he just needed to talk to nath, but I had an odd feeling about it when the second I handed the number to him, he darted off out of the room and didn't even wait for me to walk back to the lobby with him. A minute or two later I reached the lobby, about 20-30 seconds behind HIV, and I immediatelly bumped into Jurollo, coxquinn, BadgerPro, and the rest of the crew I was going to Senor Frogs with.

They said they had been told otherwise, that they were getting nath's number specifically to set up a match vs gildwulf, where tongni would be playing on HIV's account, and that they were heading upstairs to Jurollo's room (I think, it might have been someone else's room). I was going to go with them, but then thought "WTF?" and turned back around and headed toward HIV, where I saw him sitting down with shaundeeb and tongni.

I went right up to HIV and basically said "what the [censored]? you lied right to my face when I asked you if this is what you wanted nath's number for. I would never ever have given you the number of one of my best friends in order for you to try and completely [censored] him out of money."

HIV denied this was the case, but at that point there was nothing I could really do about it. A few moments later everyone came back down off the elevator and said that they had notified gilfwulf and nath and that everything should be fine, so we headed off to Senor Frog's. I just got back about 30 minutes ago and saw this and started typing....sorry for any grammatical errors.


So in short, HIV and shaundeeb are the worst kind of scum and are clearly pieces of [censored] in my mind. Anyone with half a brain can look at their posts tonight and figure that out on their own, I really don't think they'll need to read this as well to figure it all out, but just in case, I'm making thi thread as a warning. I don't know anything about tongni so I'll reserve my judgement until I have an opinion.

If HIV and shaun have anything to say to me, I'm sure they won't have a hard time finding me around the resort tomorrow.

He has literally made tens of thousands of dollars this way. I've never asked for anything in return - and now he tries to pull this?

Look, I had no choice. My back was up against the wall. I needed to play (and win) in order to get the money for a plane ticket home. HIV offered me a way out. If anyone is guilty it is Gildwulf for being such a juicy mackrel. I've been running bad for so long now and I just wanted to turn the last of my bankroll into one stack of high society.
