[ QUOTE ]
Anyone catch that part where Negreanu bets 350 on flop and donk raises 10,000 all in. Negreanu says something like "What is this I bet 400, raise to 5000, 350 raise to 10,000" Donk: "That's poker" Negreanu "No, it's not, maybe to you people it is" Does this count as berating amateurs? [/ QUOTE ] Yea I didn't like this at all. Of course it's poker. It might not be optimal, but it might be the best chance us amateurs have against you. Stay out of NLHE tournaments if you don't like it Danny. I now like Hellmuth better than Negreanu. |

Which movie did Tilly get the Oscar nomination for? Was it "Bride of Chucky" or "Let it Ride"? [/ QUOTE ] Whatever it was, it should have been this (NOT SAFE FOR WORK) |

I believe that was the hand Raymer posted about, on the turn he bet at her and she wanted to just call right, and she accidentally raised, and when it was pointed out she tried to fold, and then ended up min raising and making a straight on the river, it went something like that.
Regardless, the lady looked and sounded completely insane. |

[ QUOTE ]
It looks like they're combining days 1A and 1B together. Hellmuth played on day 1B. Sebok was in day 1A. [/ QUOTE ] I believe the first ESPN episode was, for the most part, only showing day 1B. Helmuth was on the featured table on 1B. Sebok dressed in the bear outfit was also on 1B. He was at the table next to Doyle (and both those tables were next to mine). Curiously, Sebok was seated next to Doyle's daugther, who was not mentioned in the show even though she was shown on camera next to Sebok, and Doyle son and grandson were mentioned and shown. From what I saw, most of the action was of Day 1B. Many of the pros they showed on the first episode I known were playing there on 1B (Ivey, Lederer, Ferguson, Smith, Men the Master etc.) The only exception I could see was the crane shots showing an overhead view of the tables. Those crane shots showed my table (#145), but I and my table mates were not there. I think they used crane shots from Day 1A, when the crane was at that part of the room. On Day 1B, they had moved the crane over more towards the featured table. |
