[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] it pisses me off that i just talked to my room mate and he said that the hinges broke, not the door knob because i've seen numerous doors broken down via the doorknob breaking. [/ QUOTE ] so then why did he buy and install a new doorknob? [/ QUOTE ] This thread is awsome. Carry on. [/ QUOTE ] gay thread.

Canada is stupid.
They don't even have cops there who break down doors without warning. They suck. (happily contributing to the high-brow, intellectual content of this thread) |

[ QUOTE ]
Can you give more details on: - number of doors you have seen broken down - circumstances about each instance [/ QUOTE ] Yes. I feel I've missed out on some part of life, having never broken a door down. All those with door breaking experience, please explain. |

Well...you don't need to do the door-breaking yourself.
You just need to see 'numerous' doors broken down. My count remains at zero and it's kind of depressing. Last night at the gold Strike in Tunica some guy lost a ton at the poker-tables, grabbed a random car from the valet, and drove right through the front glass doors there and into the lobby. (discussed in the B&M forum). Alas, I wasn't there for this big door-breaking event either...as my plans were to go down tonight...so I'll be a few hours late. I always miss the cool door-breakings. |

I broke down a door once. Kicked it right next to the knob like you see on TV. Broke the frame, the knob was fine.
There was one time at school that the pizza man broke the art room windows. That was amusing. The art room had these big windows maybe ten feet high by five or six wide. There was a little slope down from the main entrance to the windows. One time I order a pizza and while I'm handing the guy the money he turns and runs outside and there's a huge crash. The guy had left the car running and forgotten to put the parking brake on and the car had rolled down the slope into the art room. I was amused. I am also amused by the fact that some very smart people worked very hard to create computers and the internet so numbnutzes like the OP could make a fool of himself. |

Just to elaborate when I can type, if you have whole disk encryption, the police won't be able to forensically investigate your hard drive.
They also won't be able, at least not very easily/plausibly, to plant evidence like child porn pictures on your computer. I would imagine that if the police are any part of your life you would take this precaution. |
