I'll be holding the money as a trusted third party.

I'll be accepting transfers on all major pokersites, neteller and paypal.

I'll post payment details this weekend - I'm in Vegas right now hopefully flying back in the morning and will catch up then and post instructions for the next phases (money transfer, signup, etc).

PS: FYI the lists should be 100% updated with the PMs i've received and posts here.

you play head to head each week with another owner. you win your game if your starting team outscores your opponent. At the end of the season, the top four teams in win-loss go in to the superbowl bracket: 1st plays 4th, 2nd plays 3rd, then the winners and losers play each other to determine who finishes 1st - 4th. The next four (5th-8th) go in to the toilet bowl bracket for pride only (maybe a small prize if I can find sponsors, or if we want to hold some money back for them).

My 2 cents on the playoffs an the payout structure:

If we use a STT payout of 50/30/20 it would be possible for a team to go 14-0 in the regular season and still get goose-egged. How about paying the top 4 so the best record in the regular season at least gets their buy-in back. Maybe 45/25/20/10? Just a thought, it might take some of the crap shoot out of it...

How about we come up with a point system based upon regular season W/L combined with playoffs results? Someone want to come up with something like that?

I say we just do it head-to-head...it's gonna be somewhat of a crapshoot regardless, and it's simpler and more fun to just do head-to-head.

We'll stay with head to head. But I'm fine with changing the payout from 50-30-20 to 45/25/20/10 or etc.

Some leagues also pay the top spots in the playoffs but then give an amount of cash to the winner of the regular season (best record in head to head, points as a tiebreaker) but I prefer to avoid that UNLESS we also pay top four, because too frequently that money goes to the first place finisher in the playoffs which just toploads first place too much if we're only paying three.

I'm willing to play as many leagues as allowed, $100 is fine if only 1.

I'll play in the $100 league if still open, willing to drop to 50 as well.

We'll take sign-ups at least through Monday.

Mid-day monday I'm going to post payment instructions and start actually building the leagues and trying to start scheduling draft dates towards the end of August.

We're not in a huge hurry - the season doesn't start until the first week of September.

I do want to see between 8 - 12 people per league and obviously even numbers. So we may have to do some recruiting or change around the levels (i.e. some of the $50 people might be called upon to jump up or down in level per their expressed flexibility) to balance things out as we get going.

Oh and for public answer to bugstud's question - playing in multiple leagues is fine (i.e. playing in the $100 and the $50).
Multiple entries to the same league is not

Thanks for your continued interest. Really looking forward to getting this running.
