When MS Sunshine has written the 100th rant about Dutch Boyd on this forum?

[/ QUOTE ]

C'mon, cut him some slack.

It's been a really long time since he's even mentioed Dutch as far as I have seen.
Dutch just braceleted in one event and then was playing in the $50k event. So it brought up some of those bitter memories naturally and he just felt like posting about his $56k-freaking-loss to the hands of this guy.

If he was posting about it every single day I would be right there with everyone else that the guy should just give it a rest.
It was just one thread about it and he hadn't mentioned it in several months.

So at what point can we say future investors are properly protected? When MS Sunshine has written the 100th rant about Dutch Boyd on this forum? Or is the previous dozens enough protection? Personally I think it is silly to believe any business venture will not happen because of 2+2 posts.

[/ QUOTE ]

It's simply getting the word out there. Do you really not think people here play at the WSOP and other major events? Do you not think these people can spread the word around and thus start a domino effect of the opinion of Russ/Dutch’s character? Again, how many people lend TJ money? His reputation precedes him, and that's a good thing.

How many posts do we have to read about people waiting 2 days for their $200 cashout? And you think 5 years and $58K is no big deal?

[/ QUOTE ]

This is not a personal debt for Dutch. If it was people would have taken him to court ages ago. People have zero chance of collecting whatever they think Dutch owes them. So even if it was $580k and 2 years it would be pointless dragging it up all the time. No one would even buy this 'debt' at 1% of the nominal value.

I don't know why you are dragging up T.J. He is also at the WSOP playing tonnes of events. And I have the feeling he isn't paying 100% of his starting fees. Matusow, Boyd and Ungar were/are frequently staked. The bridges of poker seem to be quite resistant to being burned no matter what kind of skeleton you are lugging around.

It's not like he is spamming the forum with it these days.

I just think he would be a much happier person if he today said "screw Dutch Boyd" and didn't spend a second thinking about him for the rest of his life.

When threads break down to Granny being called "an absolute retard" and comments about my ranting about Russ(and that's what it is) it makes me nostaigia for the old days. When we had posters that knew what minion meant. Who knew where the caps locked key was and weren't afraid to use it. Those posters that could open a second front and do battle with two poker sites simultaneously. Those posters with ties to shadowy departments of THE government. Those that were in the rubber boats off Costa Rica with the Pan American Strike Force hoping to storm the Paradise compound. Those that openly here advocated Mason's incarceration in Clark County Jail. Those that take a less reality-based view of life.

Shouldn't Russ "Dutch" Boyd be arrested and prosecuted by the US govt. for opening up an illegal offshore poker site? I heard him say he put his servers in Costa Rica, but I thought US citizens were forbidden from opening up and owning any online gaming sites??

As a poker player, you take money from people who have huge huge severe gambling problems.

So stop with the morals crap.

....What leads you to believe that this is true?

Were you involved in the series of events that led to the collapse of the site?

Are you intimately familiar with the complete series of events as they unfolded in real-time?

Regardless of what you think about MS Sunshine, Dutch Boyd is a thief.
