I expect the Sox should be a small favorite in each upcoming games. I like Beckett over Sabathia even on the road. Then, the two games in Fenway should favor the Sox.
If the Sox lose tonight, they should be about 15% to win the ALCS. |

[ QUOTE ]
I might be in the minority of Red Sox Nation when I say it but I'd rather have Lester out there than Wakefield. Here's my case... - A lot of the Indians offensive threats (Sizemore, Hafner, Lofton) are lefties. Lefties are hitting .231 on Lester this year. - Lester's ERA was 3.34 in September with 3 quality starts. We all knew it'd take Lester some time to get his bearings straight and he had some great starts in September. - Meanwhile, Wakefield managed only 1 quality start in September with an ERA of 8.76 and 7 HR allowed in 24 2/3 innings. As inconsistent as Lester was this year, Wakefield was even moreso. And he didn't finish the season on the good side of that inconsistency, while Lester did. I just feel more comfortable with Lester right now. Thoughts? [/ QUOTE ] Brag. |

Looks like we might not have to see Borowski tonight. Stick with Betancourt, Wedge!

[ QUOTE ] if the sox somehow dont win this I will lay some bets around 10:1 that the sox still win the series [/ QUOTE ] with cc and carmona coming back up, i may give u action on that too, let's see if the indians can hold on here though [/ QUOTE ] Wouldn't be surprised if you can't get that on betting sites. Presume (generously) Cleveland is 60-40 for both those games, then 50-50 for game 7. That's still Sox 8% to win. |
