Partypoker Refuses to pay out bonus #2 and #3

Look on the bright side atleast the email you got from support makes sense and is actually related to your problem. I finished my hands 24 hours ago and after five emails to info/VIP I haven't gotten one appropriate response from them. I'm not sure what is so difficult about actually reading emails and responding appropriately but Party is clueless.

Yeah, I'm happy with that response. Just posted it so others can see it, not to complain. I don't mind waiting a day or two as long as they aren't keeping me in the dark the whole time.

Well it turns out the sixth time is a charm, I finally got somebody to acknowledge I had completed the second portion of the bonus and they claim I'll have the bonus within 24 hours. I think I'm going to just wait for my second bonus to show up and move along, as much as I like playing at Party I don't really feel like playing a 20x bonus where my raked hands may or may not be counted properly.

On a semi-related note, you'd think it would have been a whole lot easier to have the second and third bonuses show up in the bonus details tab like the first bonus than it is to deal with a ton of emails trying to find out what is going on.

I spoke too soon, I just got this gem from the good folks at Party Poker support:

From our records we see that you have played 807 raked hands from the time the bonus first bonus was released in your account.

In order to get the second bonus you are still required to play 318 raked hands till 14th of March 2006 11:59 EST.

Allow me to clarify the mechanics of the "25TO100MARCH" bonus promotion:

If you meet the release requirements within the first 3 days for the first bonus, the money is credited to your account immediately and the bonus moves into the second phase. If you meet the target after 3 days but before 7 days, then the bonus is credited to your account and the promotion comes to an end.

As soon as you meet your first target, the promotion moves into the second phase and raked hands start counting towards the second target. The promotion will then move onto the third phase as soon as the second target is met. You do not need to wait for money to be credited to your account in order to continue accruing raked hands towards the next target.

Bonus money for meeting the second and third targets of this promotion will take 24 hours to be credited to your account. Note that if you meet the second and third targets during the same 24 hour period, both bonuses will be credited together.

You will be able to track your progress via a post log-in pop-up from the lobby as from 01:00 14-MAR-06 EST.

You have managed to accumulate 1409 raked hands from 11th March to date, which means you are in the third phase of your bonus.

This whole bonus things has certainly shown that the average poster in this forum isn't too bright.

#1 Learn what a raked hand is. This is often waaaay less than your total hand count. (I realize most understand this, but a surprisingly high number have no idea...). You can track your own raked hands easily in PT, if you don't have PT, wtf are you doing here anyways?

#2 The first part of this bonus worked exactly like other party reload bonuses, if you try and clear it during peak hours it will lag. You'll get the bonus if you started playing after the bonus was active (important to check, this can lag as well) eventually - even if the hand counter isn't updated yet in the bonus tab.

#3 The extra bonuses are a new things at Party, they're not built into the system like regular reload bonuses are. Play your hands, you'll eventually get paid. It's not instant, my second bonus took until the next day to show up after I played the hands. Today I played more than enough for the third bonus, I haven't been paid yet, but I'm sure I will be - most likely tommorow.

#5 A thousand people e-mailing party that their bonuses didn't show up immediately after they completed the hands certainly isn't helping anything. Chill out and wait.

#6 I love how everytime Party tries to introduce something new that actually gives money back to the players, people find stuff to bitch about and threaten to leave Party. Flashback to a whole 4 months ago and Party was giving out nothing, no VIP bonuses, no scratch off tickets, no new years bonus, no useful merchandise in the party points store, just sporadic reloads for $100 max and crappy t-shirts.

There are legitiment complaints against Party, their service certainly isn't top notch. But honestly without Party, how many of us would be looking for a real job? Give 'em a break- they're trying to give us money. Don't kick their teeth in for it.

Okay, first off, WHAT HAPPENED TO #4??????? I'm all for insulting the intelligence of the average poster but at least they can COUNT (I hope.)

Second, Party's string of promotion mishaps is absurd. It really can't be THAT difficult to have a promotion run smoothly every now and then...Just ask Stars. I've been waiting 48 hours for my 2nd and 3rd bonuses and I can tell you right now, it is absurd. Why would they run the promotion if they knew they weren't going to be able to have it show up in the bonus accounts? Maybe because they knew they could get people to play a ton of raked hands and then stall as long as possible before they had to pay anything out. This seems to be their goal with any promotion, waiting as long as humanly possible to get people their money. It is ridiculous.
