American Beauty - the scene where Lester's daughter and the boy next door watch his film following the plastic bag being carried by the wind [/ QUOTE ] This scene was so bad that it made me not like the entire movie. |

Here's one, from Godfather II: Oh wait--there aren't any. Never mind. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah there is, and it's a big one. When Roth's men try to kill Frank Pentangeli in the bar, and one of them says "Michael Corleone says hello" or whatever the line was. This line makes no sense in the movie, and was cited as one of the big flaws in the movie by (some big movie critic, can't remember who it was now) |

How about the intro scene for Gonzo & his chicken bitch in The Muppet Movie (1979):
![]() This movie was a classic, and Gonzo's "I'm Going to Go Back There Someday" ruled the soundtrack. Unfortunately, his character was bland and contributed little from what I remember... |

I remember the hot air balloon ride and his plight to become airborne, but that's about it. Nevermind Gonzo downer. This movie ruled. ![]() Agree w/ Wonka & Chocolate Factory, too. Gene Wilder was terrific. I remember the bedridden scenes amused me as a kid, but I find them more disturbing now... |

From The Godfather: The wedding scene where the women are sitting at a table, discussing the size of Sonny's dick. It's just tacky and out of place and goofy. [/ QUOTE ] Have you read the book? EDIT: Nevermind, I just read the rest of the thread and saw this was discussed. Yeah, this scene is much more relevant if you have read the book. |

Why does Rounders keep coming up? This is supposed to be bad moments in great films, not even worse moments in bad films.
Also, yes, the Tarantino part of Pulp Fiction is terrible, as are the Tarantino parts of any movie he's in. PF's the worst though--it's just an excuse for him to say "n**ger" 300 times. |
