You made great move by joining this forum. I so wish I had done so when I began, my game would be in much better shape.

Spend lots of time here and ask lots of questions. You will always get quality answers.

As stated above the easiest way to learn about starting hands is buy a book. If you dont have one stop reading this now and jump on your scooter and go buy one. If you use the search feature on this site you will find many, many suggestions.

I also suggest watching poker on TV. Find a show that has a pro commentator. I like High Stakes Poker on GSN and though I havent seen it in a while, the PPT with Mark Seif doing the commentary.
