Lol this thread is a joke.. tapwater obviously tastes horribly bad in many areas so the advantages of not only having good tasting water but also in a bottle that you can bring places is something that a lot of people like.
Some people don't mind spending a few cents on this convenience because the small price is well worth it to them, theres a lot of worse things you can "waste" your money on. |

I drink "tap water" at restaurants anyways. I don't really care.
But I'm too damn lazy to carry around a freaking empty water bottle and opening the tap and doing it myself. Paying for bottled water is paying for convenience. |

I usually clean out Gatorade bottles and fill them with tap water for a week or so before I get a new one. Paying $1.25 or so for a 20 ounce bottle of water over and over is just stupid.

i didn't read thread, but there are def legitimate times to buy water
for example i live in waco texas, if you come and chug a gallon of it's tap water i will pay you 20 bucks |
