Default Re: Phil Ivey vs. Andy Beal

Andy Beal is a banker with very very high level math ability. He is a multi-multi- milionaire, maybe a billionaire. Anyway for a while Beal was involved in an on and off game against a group of players that included Ted Forrest, Doyle and Todd Brunson, Jennifer Harman, Barry Greenstein, Howard Lederer, Chiau Xiang and some others on and off including Ivey. These people pooled their rolls and rotated in and out against Beal in heads up limit hold-em. At one point, they were playing as high as 50,000-100,000 and I believe 100,000-200,000.

The book mentioned above is a great read.
