I think kanye is shoving with three 8s here often enough to call. I think that 20 bet gets raised often enough for kanye to value shove or am I way off

Wow seriously? I call so quick here. I also was under the impression that he was decent, given that he's been a multi-tabling mid-stakes HU guy for months. Also, he posts in MSNL a lot, I'm pretty sure.

I just can't put him on a hand we lose to here. I don't think he overcalls the flop with Q8, a set, or any 2 pair. Obviously Q8 would be a wretched call, and with that board and 2 guys (probably one fish and one unknown, from his perspective) already having put in 260, any hand that's ahead puts in a nice raise. Your river play does look like you're fos or have a giant hand, so a move here by him wouldn't be too bad. If you're not winning, you're tied.

this is what makes the decision confusing to me. you do take a line that could be a bluff. however, whenever i think [censored] like this, it seems like im just making up a relatively poor justification for calling. its prob defenitely relevant in this hand tho, just pointing out i thuink its silly to call based soley off that premise.

furthermore- for every1 who says "this is never a boat" do we believe he just floated flop/is turning a jack into a bluff(??)/has the same hand as us? every1 who said call is > me, so im just curious

I don't see why everyone thinks it's THAT unreasonable that he slowplayed a set on this flop. I don't know much about Kanye but from what I have seen he is decent and nothing special, so I don't think he's creative enough to bluff here and don't think he's bad enough to be value-shoving worse.

everyone is focusing on the river, but Rob, I think you botched this hand on the turn.....you have no reason to check....you really don't mind being checkraised on that turn with your hand, and you probably have a lot of fold equity, you'd gain a lot of info, and you'd make the river a cinch....
