ok, perfect world. the forum gets split. the elites get their owne area, what happens to the low stakes people ? who will be here to help us make our way to the next level save for a few benevolent high stakes players wishing to take a few steps off their high horse and do a few minutes of community service ? why even have a low stakes forum in that regard?

i voted yes to split the forum btw. for the sole reason to be able to see the differences in my thought processes and a high stake's player's thought processes.

There are several great low stakes players, they aren't going to disappear.

No, a lot more than that.

Theres soooo many 22-55,109ers that are good and give good advice. Us low stakes players dont "need" the best players advice. We can get to the next level with other players advice. I say split.

This is a very good point. It doesn't take the top players to tell you how to beat 22s. SSHE + SNGPT can tell you how to beat 22s, to be honest. Someone said that taking advice from another low limit player is like "blind leading the blind," and I think that's a pretty narrow-minded statement.

Anyway bottom line is that if there's a split, it'll compel me to move up higher, which I really should have been doing for quite a while now.

This is a good point. This will hurt the players at the 55s-109s or wherever the split is way more than it will help the $215 player who just wants 20 high quality threads in front of him at one time.

The 'elite' players aren't the ones responding to the majority of the low stakes posts, it is other low stakes players.

this is also true. I've been trying to mention some pro's and con's of the decision. I think it has ups and downs. I voted yes and that's where I stand.

The low STTF will not change much, if at all. Hopefully a high STT forum will at least give people like me a chance to look at things from another level.
