My theory:
He is sandbagging and now ready to show his stuff! I thought his tryout was among the best. He is the smartest competitor left in this thing. He is straight hustling america! |

He might have been sandbagging, but he will not win, and I would guess I hold more Sanjaya than anyone here.

I don't think he's sandbagging. And honestly, if he loses his crazy image and starts to sing well, I'm willing to bet he loses popularity because he would become more boring.

No chance of winning and no chance he was sandbagging.

I don't know Spanish but I think his song last night was about an evil genius who wins a national singing competition.

i think sanjaya has a pretty decent shot at winning......
although i have to admit, i can't figure out "where the votes go" the next week when someone gets voted off, and that gets alot more important when the departees have alot of votes (i.e. soon)...... last year, i thought taylor was very polarizing like sanjaya this year, but he seemed to pick up alot of votes as people were knocked out. |

I keep having nightmares that Sanjaya is gonna win this and when he is up on stage as this years Idol he is gonna rip his face off and Michael Jackson will be standing there.
There goes my bets on Melinda or Blake winning this, and Will Michael Jackon appear on this season's AI. The only good thing about this outcome is I would win the over 24 since MJ is way older than that. Scary scary nightmare. -Brendan |
