He says he paid 50k for it. That means he bought it second hand. Its very likely a case he could get a nice car for 100k, or get a second hand bullet proof (worth 200 most likely) for whatever it was going at. When it comes to protection, baller doesnt often come into it. [/ QUOTE ] Standard PhillS garbage. |

OK so why is this thread here again?
you guys are not going to believe it but as of yesterday, IT HAPPENED AGAIN and I was in r3v's car this time... we were going out to have dinner and as we were waiting to pick another friend up (another poker player, Tr3CooL) 2 guys approached with pistols on both front windows but then they again realized it was bulletproof as they touched the glass with their guns... LOL i know it is hard to believe but i dont know why r3v hasn't posted it here yet as we were later joking about how crazy and skeptical 2p2 would get when they get to know it happened again.. lol ill tell r3v to post something here later |

i was thinkin' the same thing. it's like the entry level model isn't it? [/ QUOTE ] no, it's the hatchback model. it is not an "entry-level a4". audi dropped the ball with their naming, i don't think it should have been placed in the a series. nonetheless i'm still surprised at how people, even audi dealers, treat the a3 like it's a baby benz or whatever. i looked into the car and i couldn't find a fully loaded one on the lot with nav system, leather, bluetooth, etc because the dealers assumed that people would buy an a4 if they wanted to spend 40k. |

[/ QUOTE ] first line on Wiki's A3 page: "The Audi A3 is an entry-level luxury car/small family car." once again, Wiki steers me wrong. and i agree, they def messed up w/ the naming. still like the S4 betta. |

It's a pretty common car here in Brazil, lots of A3's on the streets. Costs about 40k without armour, and if you bulletproof it it goes to about 70k total. Got 180 horsepower and manual gear so it can do 0-100km/h pretty fast, even with all the added weight
