A. Buy-in to a table with 15 BB (e.g. .5/1 = $7.50). You can start at .02/.04 if you want. Whatever you are comfortable with.

B. Play til you bust out or increase your stack to 15BB of the next highest level (e.g. 1/2 - $15).

C. Repeat step B. Of course, you do not have to bust out. If you fall back to $7.50 you can cashout or keep going.

You may want to set a goal, e.g. I will cash out when I make enough for 5/10. If you make it, next time set your goal for 10/20 or whatever.

This is a good way to check out higher limits, boost your roll, and/or really focus on your play.

I just finished one myself...Started out hot and was a few bets away from 2/4, then had a bad run of cards...

12/21/2005

01:30pm-01:55pm .5/1(45 Hands; +18.95BB)= $33.95
02:00pm-03:30pm 1/2(148 Hands; -06.25BB)= $21.50

+$6.50 total

Thanks for the info. I'm going to try it after the first of the year when I have some time one weekend. I'm sure moving up in the levels will show some people (me included) that they have a lot of work to do on their games.

Right now, I'm reading and digesting all the info I can on six max and sticking my toe in that waters. I need to improve my short handed game.

Thanks again, for the info.

well after this hand, I should have enough bb for 2/4 , exploring new territory here, plus I haven't played full ring in forever. Any body think I should go for 45BB at 1/2 and then move to 3/6?

*edit, I am 1BB away from 3/6 right now, playing 2/4
