[ QUOTE ] I am a regular in the Bellagio $2-5 NL game and if your only making $25/hr you have no clue how to play. Standard play from last night. I raise to 60 pre flop with AT, drunk tourist calls and pushes all in for $1200 on a KQJ flop. Thanks for the money buddy, his A6 did not get there. I think $50-75 is more realistic. If you play at the Bellagio you probably will run into me, I only play on tilt and love flipping for $500 and $1000 a pop. [/ QUOTE ] if you're raising it to 60 preflop in that game with a10 you have no clue as to what you are doing. I guess if a standard play is floping the nuts you must be doing fine. [/ QUOTE ] yea no [censored] nick rainey, you sound like a degen...not a poker player "I like to flip for $500-$1000"??? You're so cool man |

I gamble, ran two $500 flips the other night at the Bellagio, lost the first, won the second. These were the first two hands at the table, so actually had a nice $1000 starting stack.
I actually re-raised a drunk Canadian dude to $60 and then flopped the nuts. Come say hi if you see me at the Bellagio this weekend. I am hard to miss. |

the major jump is between 5/10NL and 10/20NL. [/ QUOTE ]this is very true in my experience. $10/20(or $10/25) is in many places the level at which they stop capping the buy ins also. |

[/ QUOTE ] right, even moreso the player is more BB behind than any other game...deeper stacks = much tougher decisions, especially when you get cr'd ai for 3k in a TPTK situation. People who have lots of $$$ to burn can really lay the screws on you if you have no reads and the stakes matter to you. That's why I never was able to take shots at 10/20, I didn't feel comfortable putting down 3k unless I would be able to play correctly. 5/10NL with 1k cap or buying in for $1500 was different b/c the money didn't mean as much to me at that level obviously. |

ATo is a perfect hand to reraise. I usually say any hand that would be good in blackjack is good. Not always true, but a decent rule of thumb.
