Anyways what was your reasoning behind going allin preflop with TT? Were you just fooling around at the micro tables, or was this a serious attempt to get your feet wet at the nl tables?

i'm rebuilding after cashing out a lot and playing like [censored] for 2 months

just thought i'd start rebuilding at the very bottom and move up slowly

i didn't go all-in pf, my plan was actually to try and get it ai pf vs. BB, since i was ahead of his range.... sb didn't cooperate, but that's ok

i felt my range was better than the short stacks, i assumed the big stack would fold and the shorty would push... i was wrong

i don't see how you could play this hand any different, except for raising to $4.20 or pushing over BB pf, as it's pretty obvious that SB usually has a weak hand has to fold (he obviously should have... KJs for 42 BBs pf???), and i'm happy to get TT all in for 42BBs vs. BB.

Hmm well I would have just called his $1.10 raise, so many hands that beat you here, the shortstack is reraising you so I would say he has something like JJ+ AK? He had 99 here but if you ask me there are far better spots to go allin pf, especially at these limits a lot of people will call allins with questionable hands like JK.

if you're putting 11BBs in w/ 42BB stacks w/ TT vs. {JJ+, AK} you are making a pretty sizeable mistake. BB was a spaz. i'd have folded if he had a reasonable pfrr range.

ps: this was a wacky hand, maybe i'll post it for more thoughts, as i found it very frustrating due to SB

i think u played it fine (minus not raising exactly wut BB had [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]) his range is extremely wide imo here and u obv crush his range. there is also dead money in the hand as i think SB will fold A TON to ur reraise. it obv didnt work perfect but things dont work out perfect very often.

Much like Keikiwai I cashed out a bunch (all but $250) and started over at NL10...

I moved to Stars late december and so far it is goin really well. I am probably jinxing it by posting this graph....




I have tightened up and am making less marginal river calls...

My won at showdown has skyrocketed...Onward to NL25 within this month hopefully with a less than zero chance of making silverstar in February ...
