citanul is awesome.

people who try to manipulate others (such as OP) are not cool. they should face the consequences of their actions.

anyone making confessions of dodgy activity on a public internet site should not be surprised if other people find out about them.

[/ QUOTE ]

manipulate? d:to manage or influence skillfully, esp. in an unfair manner.

do you think I have that much influence over my professors? I am just asking for a better grade.

2. cheer's repeated threats of legal action. No wonder his dumb ass is failing out of a middle of the road school. How is anyone's character being defamed by quoting their own statements?

[/ QUOTE ]

have you even read the Email?

[ QUOTE ]

Dear Prof. Hooper,

It has come to my attention that one of your students taking BIOL 4501 has recieved a D grade in a course where he required a C- to fufill his degree requirement.

Inflamed, this student went to a message board (twoplustwo.com) where he proceeded to rant about his bad 'fate' of failing his requirement by 60 out of 1000 points. In his words, "Even though I got a B on both my lab final and lecture final they [the professor, on behalf of the university] still don't think I deserve the C-. what bitches." He then proceeded to bitch about life and college in general. In my opinion college is easy so I think his position is weak.

I applaud your decision to fail this lackluster, undeserving lowlife.

Sincerely,
Alex Wice

Cheer,

Results?

[/ QUOTE ]

I am still in school. I went to the dean's office and she determined that I still "deserve" to be in enrolled. Apparently my grades weren't bracketed correctly and I actually have a higher GPA then they thought.

I win.

I mean manipulate in this sense:

A school grade is a rating of how someone performed on their school work.

Trying to have that grade changed on the basis of activity outside of how they performed on their school work is "manipulation."

(OTOH, where special circumstances exist that affected the conduct of the work, they should be taken into account)

cheer, you have no future. just b/c you got out of it this time does not mean you wont fail out. Ive known many people in college that pulled themselves out of 1,2, or even more jams such as this. none of them graduated. you suck, and i feel sorry for your parents.

update: (after spring break)

grade
3xxx Econ: A (2nd highest grade in my class)
2xxx Acct: A (97%)
1xxx Rhet: A-
1xxx ESPM: B

College is actually pretty easy when I take the time to go to classes.

Regarding "cheer"'s claim that it could be any bio course, that is not true. As an applied econ major, I think that he would probably not want to take (an unrequired) bio course. Of the bio courses that fufill some sort of degree requirement, only Biol 4501 satisfies this (the ethics req IIRC). So it is very very likely the course in question is Biol 4501.

To people that say I am undeserving, so be it. I work hard.

To people that say I am a scumbag, while it is true that what I did was scummy, the real truth is that I need the money and I am very fast at the internet, so this sort of thing doesn't take me that much time. Should you not cuss out citanul's request if you felt that these actions were scummy? After all, he (and only he) motivated me.

To people that say that my hair is bad in the photo, that was me on the end of a very long poker session. Currently my hair is much shorter. Also, the caption reads "desperately needs citanul's money." While that is clearly an exaggeration (who desperately needs $10 anyways?) my financial situation currently is not what it used to be (as pictured.)

After the fact, it is clear that the double down thread was not funny. At the time I thought it was very funny. Now I see it as mildly funny.

I don't regret my life nor my posting history for any actions that happened recently. Some may call me pathetic but I am not the one to cheat anyone nor go back on deals. So many times (even when I was poor) through staking or loaning or otherwise, I had the opportunity to cheat people for thousands of dollars. I never did this. So I hope my integrity is not lost in this thread.

I do hope citanul ships some money for my time, because it really helps.

holla

[/ QUOTE ] integrity? you would completely [censored] over this guy's life for $20. this is what makes you pathetic. you taking the deal is worse than citanul offering it cause he did it because he truly believed cheer didn't deserve the grade and didn't want him weaseling into it. you admittedly did it for the money. you're just a whore.
