high,

"my datamining is almost the same as good2cu."

I think the issue for TWP/Rolen is in the substantially different loss amount. I guess if you and good were motivated to do so, you could try and identify the missing hands and see if maybe g2c stacked someone in one of those or something.

didn't have time to read the entire topic, but this is one spectacular bad beat. Had the hand the whole way - sick daddy cash on the line...anything but that heart and it's a lock. So naturally the H comes. lmao.

Ah, it's so nice to read about someone else with a hand like this - I thought for a minute there that I was the only one with luck that bad.

Look people:

1. Rolen is completely fine in this thread. I have defended him before, I will defend him now again. Good2cu made a claim which Rolen deemed to be false or likely to be false (greater than 50% likelihood). He stated as much and was willing to back up his belief to the tune of $1K straight up. Good for him. That doesn't mean he likes or dislikes good2cu. It doesn't mean anything other than the fact that he believes his claim was likely to be false and he's willing to back up that belief with money.

2. Similarly, I don't know anything about good2cu. He is not a friend of mine. I have never met him and don't even know his name. I just believe that he is less than 50% likely to be misrepresenting his results and I am willing to back up my belief with $1K straight up. That's it. The bet is about the likelihood of his falsely representing his results. Nothing else.

3. The problem with this bet, as we all knew from the start, was finding a reliable source for his true results. If datamining had been complete 25/50+ and if g2cu's results had matched exactly, then that would have been ideal. However, neither of those things have occurred. I have asked g2cu to email FTP for the HHs but there is pretty much no reason for him to do so (except to the extent that he wants to prove himself as having represented his results accurately). Or to help me out for 'standing up for him' if that's the way he sees it (that is not the way that I see it - but it wouldn't be totally weird for him to see it that way nonetheless).

4. So let's either make some progress (seems like the datamining avenue is exhausted, unless there are other data miners out there - I have no idea) or just let this thread die. Rolen, if we can ever resolve this to both of our satisfaction, great. I'm 100% committed to paying you if I am proven wrong. As specified at the outset, I would be completely satisfied with two independent identical sources, as you have also stated you would be. So we can either find them, or not. If not, fine, it's a push. I think there is a greater than 50% chance that g2cu is telling the truth, but it is only $1K and obviously there is some chance that he was mistaken/lying so I believe my EV in this bet to be around 600-800. Not a small amount of money, but nothing I'm going to be breaking into FTP headquarters over either.

Still thinks it will be very hard to complete this bet Think they need 2-3 more dataminers, then get a real jury which can decide, haha

Kind Regards

I don't know why Rolen is getting so much flack for being a little nitty here in trying to win the bet, either.

It's not so much that as it is that before the bet he was so insistent that there was NO F'IN WAY G2CU POSSIBLY WON 10K THIS SESSION

I concur with TWPs tone.
I still think a nice t-shirt for each of you is the way to go on a draw though.

Also- the poster right before you had some salient points. I cant wait for a 6th post.

I was railing him and was absolutely shocked to hear that he won 10k - I didn't think it was possible

I figured he was down at least 30k

Didnt you both agree that you would accept G2CU's 25/50 figures and add them on to highstakes' mined figures for other limits? If so, Rolen has won the bet.
