I was the original poster to this, and i accually left absolute poker since this post. I am afraid of the bots alot, and the fact i also emailed absolute on this matter, and got pretty much the same response as jbrent33. It's harder to detect them at the higher limits, only because it's harder to get the higher limit players too sit out, and that is what is scarier, just because there is more money out there.

Kind of scaring me too a point that i might just play poker live once a week instead of playing online a few hours everyday.

Please DONT report these bots. They are awful players and once you figure out their betting patterns(there are less than a dozen), you will be rewarded. I play the 10-20, and 15-30 and I know of several bots that play those limits. Let's just say I would like them to stay, as they are giving me the most money.

I see where you are coming from, but that is purely a selfish prospective. What about all the new players at those levels that this could spoil the game for? no no no! IMO report them immediately.

Well done JB.. every credit to you mate. I believe there is a list of some of the suspected bots on the first page of tis thread.

Keep up the good work!!

...the one man mission to destroy the absolute bots....

It is bad for the game as a whole to have bots playing.
Do you see why?

Are you saying you play $10-20 at Absolute and there are bots playing? I log about 20k hands at month at that limit, and I haven't noticed them. Names please and data to back up claim that bots are playing that high. Thanks

I was looking at the other thread about bots being a problem and it certainly is scary, I was so surprised to see just how many people were willing to try and cheat to win at poker (just look at the forum on the winholdem site). Surely sites like this should be shut down.

We need to find a good hacker to get in and create chaos on that site and every other bot site. Stop these cheats now!

I took a look couple of times about Absolute and saw that 1-2 6-max is mainly pretty tight there though it goes raking after $1 max still (by 25c inc., there being worse sites than that) that's not good, though the rakeback covers it but that's all good it is there (or they have that bonus too - perhaps counted out of the rakeback - but the games are not as good and there are better places for many reasons). The games 2-4 and 3-6 were loose, something that's explaned by the monster rake. And someone mentioned that clearing the bonus may be tough at 0.5-1, so they are all there at 1-2. Two other sites that are generally (but not all the time if one picks the tables) tight at that limit are FullTilt (that also has the tightest very lowest limits games on the net, 25c-50c, and one could add NL too, something comparable I have seen only at one site in the past and it had all bots. I don't anymore play at FT even when the tables are good as what I saw there, I wouldn't recommend it). About the games breaking, that's normal when it gets too short even at sites like UB that has a reduced rake when there are 2-3 players that often makes some people play there when it gets that short while they wouldn't do it elsewhere.
