Bf5 gives you options and a reasonable probability of an attrition-based game. Which I don't think is either side's goal here, so you might as well set up multiple attack foci. Unfortunately, Black seems to have made its game a little transparent, and will have to rely on sheer tactics and a mistake by White to gain a decisive advantage. However, it's still pretty close at this stage. Disclaimer: I know little to nothing about chess.
