I have a newbie question:
I typically play at either Party or Eurobet on 2/4 or 3/6. Actually, I am just getting started, I have played about 10,000 hands. I wondered if you guys have a money management plan for each table that you sit down at. For example, if you lose x amount then you leave. The reasons may be because, your table image isn't good or just because you happen to continue to make second best hands. And, how about the opposite way? If you win x amount then you leave. Thanks for the help. |

A good money management strategy is not to play Pokerroom. Their rakes to high and their bonuses encourage totally rocky play. It's generally not nearly as profitable a site as others, like, say, Party.

What has previously happened at the table really shouldnt affect whether you leave the table or stay. The quality of the table should determine this.
Just rebuy if you stack falls too low. If its really a good table, I wouldnt worry about table image too much. You will find these on Party. |

Maybe I don't have enough experience yet, but, typically I go into the 3/6 table with $300 and $200 for the 2/4 tables. I am seeing in my PT database that I have a lot of gains that are between $25 and $50 dollars, but, my losses tend to be more like $150. So, I was wondering if there was a point where you cut loose on a table.
I say this understanding that the cards are the cards and they will work out over time. But, just wondering if people did some table management. Thanks for the comments. |

Don't base how long you play at a table or a session on how much you've won or lost. If you are tiltingbecause you've lost some hands then that's a different story but there are many times you may lose money but are at a great table. Reload and hang in there.

Look at your game. You may still be a loosing player, although I do not know. When I sit down I try to establish an aggressive image. I will push often and it "usually" works. If people figure out my strategy or try to push back then I may just jump off and find another table.
