I think including the hippo is unfair. The hippo can destroy probably... ANYTHING in the hippo's natural habitat. But if the hippo is on land fighting a tiger it has no chance.

BTW the elephant is WAY too slow to beat the grizzly.

Seeding an unarmed human over any of the above animals is patently ridiculous IMO. How exactly do you suggest a 220 pound man kill a 10-foot crocodile that weighs nearly 1000 pounds??

UFC champ vs. croc is kinda skewed. He knows how to beat the croc. Where as an animal that could beat the human may not be able to beat the croc. But a W is a W.

Yeah, I almost changed the seeding. But I wanted the croc and tiger to be next to each other given the closeness of the other poll, in which I voted for croc.

It's like the NCAA tourney. Sometimes you get screwed by the draw. I'm guessing there are several matchups in here that would end up with a>b b>c c>a.

I stand corrected, it might be a draw.

Steve Irwin can destroy a croc and he is a fat, white, autralian. Imagine what Shamrock or Ortiz could do to one with the proper training.
