Will you ever accept Firepay? That is my only internet-bank link and I intend to keep it that way to prevent complications.

Dear WSEX GM,
Have you ever hear of 'advertising'? I suggest you try it sometime. It may make people outside of this forum aware of your site. Someday you may even have more than 7 or 8 people playing at the same time. If WSEX can't afford to advertise, then I am all for the 90%RB, 10% advertising idea. |

Especially when you're uniformed. They advertise on these and other forums. And I can't open hardly ANY poker magazine without seeing a big, full-page ad for NO RAKE poker at WPEX. They've been in CardPlayer and Bluff (and probably All In and Poker Pro I'm guessing as well) in every issue I've seen since they started this. They also arranged with CardPlayer for a nice long article about their new, innovative approach in the poker-room that included them getting on the cover. They've been regularly participating in these forums to let the customers know what they're thinking as well as their thoughts about the legislation. If you're referring to 'television' advertising then you need to be aware that even before the legislation passed there wasn't a TV station in the country that would let them advertise 'rake free' poker on their real-money games. Whether they can actually 'afford' to advertise more. Har har har. They are a pretty darn big sports-betting site. I have no idea how much they make but I'm pretty sure they could afford to buy as much advertising as they want to for their site. It's attitudes like yours and the tone that you are taking that makes me wonder why folks like WSEX-GM and other poker-site reps would even bother coming to 2+2 to discuss things with us in the first place. They are offering 100% rakeback for crying out loud. And all you can think to do is be a total jerk about 'ever hear of advertising? I suggest you try it sometime' In short - try to have a clue if you are going to criticize and please try to be a bit more civil when doing so. |

Sweet! I am also very happy to hear the disconnect problem is the top priority.
I would like to voice my opinion that 6 max is preferable to 5 max but fix the disconnections first! |

Remember, this law was attached to a legitimate port security bill by Senator Bill Frist of Tennessee. It's a crappy backdoor manuever and a terribly underhanded way of assuring that it would get passed. With the political climate the way it is; few in congress would dare to appear weak on terrorism or national security.
It will be up to those players in Tennessee to show strength for all of us by voting this guy out of office for pulling this kind of BS. |

He plans to run for the Republican nomination for President in 2008. To hurt Frist, Start stumping for McCain now...oh, wait he's hostile to sports betting. Maybe Mitt Romney...oh wait, he fought against Mass casinos to build up his cred with the far right base of the party. |
