LOL ignorance and hatred. What are you so afraid of?

"Homophobic" is certainly the correct term here. Some other one is include "bigot", "closet case afraid of discovering his own homosexual proclivities", and "ignorant piece of [censored]".
And given you revulsion towards them, you almost certainly are afraid of them.

[ QUOTE ]
I don't really care if you guys think I'm a jackass, this is my point of view. Certainly, I'm not forcing it on anyone, nor am I attempting to change anyone's opinion. I'm not even going to say that I think it's the "correct" opinion, but it is certainly mine.

[/ QUOTE ]

Okay, it's still based on ignorance. How many gay people do you actually know or have met? Where did you grow up? Or did you get everything you know about gay people from Will & Grace?

[ QUOTE ]
Ha, I get my stubborness from my father.

[/ QUOTE ]
MY DADDY TAUGHT ME EVERYTHING I KNOW, HE'S THE GREATEST MAN IN THE WORLD AND NOBODY SHOULD QUESTION HIS AUTHORITY

i'm curious if this guy is a troll or if he's really this ignorant. Or if his dad is the Chris Cooper character in American Beauty.

I'm gonna ignore the raging gay/anti-gay debate for a second and just give some advice.

You don't know if your roomates gay or not yet. What he drinks doesn't really tell you much. Some people (myself included) just don't like the taste of beer/liquor.

However if he is gay then it's still not a problem. I mean eventually you're going to have to work with someone you don't like. Might as well start learning this valuable skill right now.

well what i hear is that the beer taste is a million times better fresh than after recieving it 3-4 weeks in your local supermarket.

theyre also incredibly cheap since theyre non-imports but they taste like an imported beer which is pretty damn awesome

homophobia, and in general any sort of deliberate prejudice towards homosexuality is dispicable, and anyone like aejones who opens says he hates gay ppl should be banned and shunned from the poker community. How would the moderators react if someone said "I hate jews, i can't help it, I just hate them!" or what if they said it about blacks, or about hispanics, or anything? Would we tolerate it?

No. Just because a certain element our society-- ignorant people-- think they have some sort of random justification to be outright subversive to progress and open-mindness, does not make it 'ok.'

To anyone with any understanding of history and society, it is so blatently obvious that those who are openly bigoted are living in another era.
