Default Fold A Set ?

$5-$10 NL Full Ring

UTG (tight player 15 VIP) makes it $50 folded to me in the BB, I call with 2-2.

Flop : K-Q-2 rainbow.

I bet out $70, UTG makes it $350 which puts me all-in.

I'm in a spot to call $280 to win $455 but am positive he's holding AA KK or QQ, most likely being KK or QQ. This is probably a stupid question, but would you make this call even though I'm putting him on a hand that beats me?

I know it "depends" but I'm telling you that I flat out put him on KK or QQ.

Tough situation. Since I don't play NL, I would vomit in my coffee cup and ask him to chop. On a serious note, try the PL & NL forums. Good luck.

If you flat out put him on KK or QQ then it would make sense to fold. That being said buy in full or fold pf.

P.S. I don't fold.

Most likely KK or QQ? Yeah, right. MOst likely AA.

Also, don't call 22 here if you're just going to fold when you hit your miracle flop. Your stack isn't big enough.

you should fold preflop if you are only playing with $400 at a $5-$10 table.

and you definitely can't fold a set with less than 50bbs.

That sounds like result oriented thinking. And if you like to take flops with that kind of hands in raised pots. Sit with 1k or go down to NL400 or NL600 and sit with the maximum.
