A lot of players exclusively use the miniraise.
It either means they have a monster, they have top pair (any kicker) and they don't want to commit, they think you're bluffing and they don't want to commit. Or they're randomly pressing buttons. Either option is equally plausible depending on the player. |

im positive calling the flop raise is the best play but im going to be honest and say im not sure how i would play the turn
i would say call if he bets small but im not calling a push. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] call, AI on turn. easiest hand, i love busting ppl on their first hand in the game. [/ QUOTE ] zzzzz once again the answer is lost in a bunch of wordy other posts about god knows what [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] You guys are g00t except if you call (which I think you should do), what hand is calling the all-in on the turn that we beat? If villian pushes... well then it's tough, but we know this much about villian, he's impatient if he can't wait one hand to post. |

>>> Why do you want him to fold if he's bluffing? WHAT AMOUNT ARE YOU RAISING TO? Also, as others have pointed out, some people minraise with nonsense like K9. I don't think calling is much worse than folding, if it's worse at all, but raising is definitely at the bottom of the pile, covered in poo. <<<
I'm envisioning you now at the bottom of that pile you mention, hmmm. You make a compelling and highly intellectual argument for calling the flop bet. Why not call a turn and river bet also by the same reasoning, and just in case he may be bluffing. In fact why not call all bets and raises just in case, well if you never ever raise you'd never know... |

he has $200 left, if you're going to play this hand, and you're going to call any bet on the turn, just shove your stack up his ass and see what happens. you probably have the best hand. he would LIKELY fold KT, K5, T5 to a raise OOP unless he's just hopeless. he would also likely raise UTG with TT or possibly 55. the worst possible hand is 55, since you're drawing slim and he could conceivably not raise and just check UTG. seriously, why do you guys ALWAYS post these miniraise hands?? are you really affraid of the nuts everytime someone does this? you haven't seen people miniraise and turn over one pair 3/4 of the time like i have? |
