Assume you had all statistics on the villain here, what statistics would you use to deduce whether or not to call this pre-flop raise and further what your plan would be on a flop high card jack or lower?
Note: JadeStar is a 200 NL PartyPoker player famous for making very very large pre-flop raises with AA and KK in an effort to trap other people w/ QQ, JJ, and AK. This is a pretty standard raise, it's not absurd. I guess preflop is a bit big, i guess that's what you're talking about.
You have no reads on the villain? It's a really read dependent situation. I think he's a 2p2er, I've seen the name around. You're probably way behind an overpair, margainally ahead/slightly behind a big draw, and way behind a set/two pair. If villain doesnt know me, I'm assuming he thinks i'm a donk since this is 200 nl and I'd fold. If he has some respect for my game here I probably call. It's close though |

Absolutely call. In this game, getting your stack in with QQ as an overpair is definitely a winning play against some random short stack. If the bard was like J104 you might want to lay it down.
