I'm looking for a new car under $2k and have come across some third generation Camaro's in this price range while surfing the web (cars.com, autotrader, ebay, vehix). I've decided that a Camaro is the right car for me because inside I'm a gay-hating redneck. No seriously, I just want one.
Some basic questions I have before purschasing one: 1) Are there any years/models I should avoid? 2) What are some of the major problems these cars run into with 15+ years of age and how expensive can it get? Will a pre-purchase inspection be able to root out or give a good warning to any of these potential problems? 3) How many miles is "too many" barring a new engine/tranny? Thanks for any help. |
