Collecting an appearance fee.... for absoulutly no effort.... Unless you count hitting on bartenders and talking about how great you are for playing 1 fing hand

Bob Stupak is a joke; he doesnt know his ass from his face. What was that garbage he was saying about Mimi Tran being the best player besides him. Nothing on Mimi and I am not even sure who the best player in that game is, but he sounded like a retarded moron.

A fish? An old guy with money?

Regarding his status in vegas, yes, I know who he is. I don't think he should have been on the show though.

you answered your own question as to why he is on the show

A fish? An old guy with money?

This is the makeup of a real high stakes game. Some top flight pros, a rich amateur or two to feed the game and some lower tier pros taking their shot at the big game. I don't know how much the appearance fee is but unless it over 100,000 dollars which is the least you could buyin for it would -EV for some of Stupaks skills to risk that losing at least that much to earn less then that in appearance fees. I don't see how GSN can make the players gamble more with thier on money in a cash game a tournaments structure does that for them.

Not really when you consider in all the hands played, he played 1 hand, AA. I'm guessing he won't play anything but those 2 hands and he'll raise so much preflop with them that anyone would be wrong to call. Then he stands to ante a little, if he gets lucky make a score (like he did) and then make a small profit, plus the appearance fee.
