Default WPT Season 4: Mirage Poker Showdown (3/8)

It's good to have the WPT back with new episodes. Tonight's final table looks like this.

Seat 1: Ted Forrest; T1,370,000

Seat 2: Mark Ellerbe; T353,000

Seat 3: Eugene Todd; T763,000

Seat 4: Chris Bell; 1,417,000

Seat 5: Gavin Smith; T667,000

Seat 6: Kido Pham; T1,760,000

The tournament was held quite a while ago- from 5/23/05 to 5/26/05.

Uhhh, so is anyone else's cable working perfectly except for the small problem of the Travel Channel video being blacked out? ...the only channel I'd want to watch now.

I have to give the dude from New York credit. It only took him about 8 minutes to send my douchebag alert skyrocketing.

I got it on, 1st hand was awsome.
E. Todd wins by bluff and agression, then looks like a dork pumping his fists after C bell mucks best hand.

The new graphics almost make it seem like it was being broadcast in HD.

I was at that event and let me tell you, both he and his friends in the crown were annoying.

FYI, when the event gets down to 3 handed, it's the best poker I've seen on the WPT. Now, how they edit it could be different, but it sure was exciting to be there.

What's funny is I walked up to Mike Sexton and VVP right before the action was down to 3 and commented on how boring the event had been so far. It really picked up after that.

Gavin's look is terrible. Drop 50lbs, get a haircut and lose the backwards hat.
