why wouldn't you bet that flop? theres only 5 cards that would help him, so it's very likely you currently have the best hand. Are you going to let him try to draw out on you for free?

Any read on MP2?

Preflop raise is standard.

Flop: You are HU with a good hand. Fire another bet out there.

I did bet...can you clarify what 5 cards would help him? The 4's and Kings?

Yup, 3-Ks, 2-5's. Maybe some weird low suited ace straight draw or something. Clear continuation bet on the flop. If you get 3-bet you have to make a tough decision. Is villian getting fancy or does he have a hand? I probably call and re-evaluate on the turn.

Bet flop, call any reraise, see what happens on the turn. If hte turn is like 7 or something, fire out another one, if reraised, fold. check down river if you miss the A or Q.

Yup, 5 cards he could be holding that hit that flop - the 4's and K's

Since most hands that involve K's are clear raising hands from MP, it's unlikely he has a K (unless you have a passive read on him) and not many people play hands with 4s in (is he a complete fish?), so I do think theres a strong chance you hold the best hand here

Bet.

For what it's worth, you should pretty much be betting any flop when you are the preflop raiser and it is heads up like this.

Plus, this isn't any flop, it's actually quite a decent one for you. A bet here should take the pot down pretty regularly, unless the guy is a total calling station of course.

Without a read on the Villian, I play it the same way.

The board is very ragged. No straights, no flushes and only a king or four to worry about. He'll usually fold to a bet here, or call as an underdog. The main concern is really that he might have a PP he'll call down with regardless.
