Balla check: Porsche Carrera or BMW M3?
Used, they both run around $30k.
Which do you pick and why? Keep in mind maintenance, insurance costs, gas, etc.

As far as maintence goes I think they will be fairly similar. BMW's are fairly notorious for expensive maintenance.
