The board is dry, so there's no conceivable draw Villain could be pushing with. Also, it makes no sense for him to play *any* hand like this. When people make non-sensical plays like this I usually won't call with less than TPGK without a read, especially since non-sensical overbet pushes are more often big hands than they are bluffs. I fold here.

This sure looks like a set of sixes. MP1 is challenging you I believe. If you have AA or AK you will have a lot of trouble laying this down. I think it is good play by MP1 to do this. Some players here will checkraise but that shows a lot of strength. This play is more suspicious so it has a better chance of getting all the chips in.
The best you can hope for here is MP1 to hold TT-77 or an outright bluff with AQ or AJ. I would not risk my tourney life on that with such a deep stack and so many more future opportunities. |
