Default EV of fast food drive thru

So I'm the drive thru today with a friend and we're getting food. Food is for me, my friend and other friend at home. Girl driving is very agg.

So we get the food for all three of us and she lives 5 min away. We don't check the food. Of course when we get home the food is wrong, and we have to go back.

So my question is, is it +EV to check the bag every single time you get food in the drive thru. Or is it better to just see what happens when you get home.

Is it wrong often enough to waste the time checking in the car? (3 bags of food?)

(on a side note when I got back I tried to pull the threesome.)

sadly enough, Ive thought about this, becuse there is a [censored] taco bell near my house that NEVER EVER remembers that I specifically say "no sour cream on anything pls". It is a case by case basis Ive concluded, Ill check some places but not others.

more food = more need to check
special order = check unless you really don't care

I never have to check at McDonald's - unless I'm getting a dipping sauce and/or ketchup, but you can usually witness that part from the window. I can see checking if you ordered the burger special.

Taco Bell is [censored] retarded. Actually, maybe they're not, it might be my gf's fault...she always wants a side of salsa (half of them don't know what this means), and a side of sour cream. There's regular random stuff Taco Bell forgets too though.

And yes I do this, but get nervous that I didn't pull up far enough or pulled up too far to block parking lot traffic. I also get worried that the guy will finish before I'm done checking.
