Is it just me, or is there NO WAY to store a buddy comment in the new AOL IM 6.0??? All of my old buddy comments are GONE! Why is this such a big deal? Because my buddy comments were the names of everybody! How am I supposed to remember who EDog78132 is??? I used my buddy comments to store the names of people, and then when I hovered over the screenname, it would display the buddy comment (the real name). Now, all of those have been deleted. I have no way of knowing who anybody is, and to make matters worse... there's no way to add buddy comments in the new AIM 6.0. This new AIM 6.0 sucks.

use trillian or gaim. I use Gaim and while it doesn't have "comments" it has an "alias" field where you can store an alternate ID like their name. Not sure what Trillian hsa but I would think it's similar. Both programs also can access multiple IM services.
I haven't used the actual AIM client in years (or yahoo or MSN) |
