Default beat: stuck in mexico

okay here is a decent bad beat story and plea for help. I get to Cabo San Lucas and find a big poker game at the marina. Some mega-yacht guys have a $10-25nl game, avg. buyin is about 5000, I buyin for 2K ( i have 4 buyins only ). Yes the game was way too big for me but I had dealt for these guys the other night, and they were awful.

I sit down and flop the nut flush on the first hand I play, get all in vs. a set and the turn pairs the board. -2K.

I rebuy and tread water for a few hours, up to 3.5k when flop a set of 7´s on a 752 board. A new player w- 2k and pocket jacks tries to give me his money, but alas, the turn is a jack and I go from way ahead to way behind again.

I buyin for my last 2k and I´m strangely calm. I have been in this situation before, down to my last buyin and have always managed to escape when my back is against the wall. The loosest, craziest player at the table re-raises me all in preflop about 15 hands later. I only have queens but I´m certain they are way ahead. Crazy lag sheepishly shows pocket deuces. Laughs like a madman when deuce hits the flop.

So I´m stuck in Cabo, trying to get home for the holidays but not finding much work down here. I figure I can spin up a few hundred online easy as anything. Thanks for listening.

Look for college students heading back in a car. It'll be a long ride, but you can probably hitch back up.

Also, buses are pretty cheap. You can probably scrounge up enough for one to TJ.

PS: Hope you live in San Diego.
