Does anyone know why Ticketmaster doesn't mark shows as Sold Out?

If you try to buy tickets for a sold-out show, their system tells you it couldn't find tickets based on your search criteria. (You have to remove your seating preferences and search for 1 ticket in order to see that the show is sold out.)

I wish those sinners would just tell you up front that the show is sold out.
