Ok, you asked for it. I take this as my personal opportunity to ask noob questions I've never gotten to ask before. This is going to be my own personal advice column.

Question: A8o UTG at NL50 or NL100 6max. All stacks 100.

Open for a raise or fold? If you open for a raise, is it 100% bluff?

Grunch,

A8o is often the best hand preflop at a 6-handed table. I open it if my UTG raises are getting too much respect, and table is playing predictable postflop. I play it for it's hand value postflop (not as a bluff).

Isura,

how often should you check/call flop with midpair, HU, OOP in a raised pot?

dbitel,

Well it depends. If midpair can beat 2nd pair on board, and the highest card is not an ace, you can almost treat it like top pair. I would prefer my 2nd pair to be fairly high, and the board fairly dry. My standard line is to then lead the turn and try take it down (check/call flop to pick off c-bet). I also sometimes c/r the flop with 2nd pair.

Isura,
Although I have played at 6-max for a decent amount of hands, I still have PF questions. Given normal table conditions of 6-max, 100bb stacks and normal players, do you open/fold/call with:
KJo/QJo
Weak aces such as A4o? How about connectors? 78o.

orange,

utg-mp - I usually muck all these. Sometimes I open KJo-QJo in mp though. I rarely limp these hands, not even behind limpers (I usually raise)

co-btn - Raise KJ-QJ, A4o first in. 87o depends, but I prefer A4o for example (I'll muck 87o a lot on the button).

O Great Isura,

You're on the SB. Full ring, let's say. There are N limpers.

How thin do you complete? How thin do you raise? How does the number of limpers affect your decision?

Humbly... Grunch

Grunch,

1 <= N <= 2 : I'm very tight. Not enough pot odds to play a lot of hands, and you aren't getting much action with only 2-3 in the pot.
Limp: 22-88, ATo, Axs, 54s, all broadways.
Raise: the others.

N >= 3 :
Limp: Add suited 1 gappers, 54o, Kxs.
Raise: I'll raise with junk sometimes to take it down preflop (only do this in moderation!). I'm tighter raising here than when N < 3.

I dunno, I think it's better to be too tight than too loose in the sb.
