You DEFINITELY need to add a club location to the site. I'd really like to join a group, to play poker with. Don't know anyone around here, who likes to play poker.

This has been added!

REQUEST: After tournament results are entered, could you have the text for the entry on the club home page change automagically from "Tournament Scheduled! A new tournament has been scheduled for 2005-07-09!" to "Tournament Completed! A new tournament was played on 2005-07-09!".

To add to that, it would be great if we could edit, rather than just delete any front page items.

AND A QUESTION: Like I said, this website is PERFECT for my needs, and came at JUST the right time, so now I don't have to do any of the dirty work myself. So my question is, do you take donations? Maybe add a paypal (or better yet, neteller) link on the homepage. I'd love to send you a few greenbacks for your work.

Thought of a couple more feature suggestions.

Club members: When I manually add members, I can see their password in plain text. I was going to let you know about that, but I saw that for those who had changed their PW, they were no longer visible, good deal.

Would it be possible to make other members "admins", on a case by case basis. Lets say I had to go out of town, but everyone else wanted to have an event. I could give someone admin rights, rather than my password, so that they could add news, events, etc.

Seasons: Could you add the ability to modify the season? All you can currently change is the name, and whether it's the active season. It would be nice to be able to extend a season, should the need arrive.

That's it for the moment...I think.

Blah, I don't know why, but my signature isn't working on here.

Here is a link to Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy, my poker club. And for an idea of what you can do with the results, here's the results from our first tourney.

That's pretty cool stuff Etaipo. Too bad all of my friends are too lazy to open up a web browser for three seconds to do this. Anyhow, I was wondering now that you're keeping legitimate track of your home poker earnings what does this mean for the IRS?! If you look closely at my picture, you will notice that it's actually just play money from the Deluxe Monopoly(c)(tm) that's in my closet.

Poker for real money?!? That's just crazy.

I will be adding a "transfer club ownership" feature.

I may be able to do something about updating the "tourney scheduled" news post.

I'm not sure what you mean by extending a season. There really isn't a time limit on a season, so I don't see the need for modifying one. Even if the season isn't current, you can still assign tournaments to it.

Finally, thanks for offering to donate! I'll definately put up a donation link one of these days...

What I mean is this...when you set up a season, you set a number of events (say, 10). Stats for the season are then based on the best 10 performances for each member, right.

But lets say when I set the season up, I was flying by ear, and set it to ten....but in reality, we're going to do 20 events...now, I'd either have to scrap the existing season and start over from scratch, re-inputting the existing data, or else the stats get screwed before the season ends.

Does that make sense?

I understand...

I will change it so the number of tourneys used for points calculations can be specified for each season.

Thx for pointing this out.

Hehehe, alright.

I'm going to keep bothering you, because I don't want you to be bored, and I'm digging your site.

Suggestion #1225234: When, for instance, you click on the stats page and get everyone's full stats, the name of the player is a link. Clicking the link takes you to the players page with their full stats....

How about....could you make the users page configurable? It would be neat to be able to enter a bio for each player, their email address possibly, and maybe a picture.

Eh? Eeeeh?
