Heck, just take all but 10K out of poker, put it somewhere where it will grow, and see what you can do with the 10K. Just make an ironclad committment to never risk the 3 million in any games of chance.
Drop down in levels with the 10K so you don't risk it all right away. If it does get lost, then get out and stay out. Just don't let poker consume your time as much in the process.
