I like it too. Preflop is close tho. I don't mind folding since there's such a big rake in 2/4. If the opponents are bad I probably call but if they're good/medium I find a fold.

I think I used to fold this preflop, before I knew better. Since the SB called the steal raise, it's a standard call with your suited two gapper. The check-raise is a good play because the button could fold his 6 outer, perhaps even pairs like 77 and you could win right there. If not, you have many outs to improve.

Preflop is probably a fold in a high rake game versus a TAG raiser. Calling becomes better when the rake is lower and/or your primary opponent is weaker.
Either way the mistake is fairly negligible, yet folding is slightly less variance. |
