Obviously, sometimes I'm ahead. Can you help me work out how I figure this out? This is the kind of spot we're often in, and I struggle with it. I'm doubting I'm alone, so if you can explain your thinking for wanting to get it in here, that would really help. |

I consider this flop bet for semi-value as he can have ATC here, I just dont want to give him a free look at one of the ATCs on the turn ...if he had me beat pre and i face resistance, then I have no problem letting it go, and I might even fold out some better hands with the bet |
