Bad play, psychology, variance..?

I am very sorry if this not right forum for posting this!

Hi all.


I playing poker for near two years and now I need help.
I have big variances in my play. My problem is, that after any bigger win, something change and I have similar lost .This results are repeated for about fourth months and I dont know why.

My last 150 bb lost I have yesterday. After 4 days gain, I lost all winnings what I won.
I think it's cannot be only bad luck and I hope I'am not so bad player..! [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

After I analyzed my play, I found out, that my biggest losses are from weekend.Maybe I don't know, how play against superloose players, but yesterday was terrific.My top pairs was rivered out by total crap, anycallers won anything over me. I raise with good cards, they call me down and surprise, they raised me on river and of course, runer runer two bottom pairs is better.

I have no idea why you're moving up in stakes if you're only beating .5/1 and 1/2 for ~1BB/100. You should be easily creaming these stakes for 3-6BB/100, otherwise there's something fundamentally wrong with your poker game.

From the looks of it you're a slight winner at 5/10, but that's probably from a small sample size. It looks like you're way too tight and just nut peddle. Once people realise that they're just going to steal your blinds all day long.

I dont like the way you are playing those hands. I mean two overs, 3 to the flush when u have no flush out. Maybe you dont know when to fold? Calling down is probably costing you 1-2BB quite frequently. You need to consider your opponents and their inability to fold to preflop raises, will they call a2o to a raise against KK, some will. Especially at 1/2 2/4 or lower

You said something about not knowing how to deal with superloose players. If you have trouble with them you need to loosen up your standards. This play tight vs loose and loose vs tight is a load of crap. Logically, if a tight player bets, he has something, yes? then why would you play loose and lose all youre money. Conversley, if a loose player raises you, what is playing tight going to do? he has obviously loosened his playing hand standards so do the same. If he raises, if you have something reraise, and bluff more (not to the point where youre giving the live one your money).
