I raise the flop. There is a flushdraw out there. And some suited connectors have gutshots. And you may be taken to valuetown by a set(88,44). (Not AK I think = 3bet for villain with these stats). On top of that I like to have initiative in my toppair hands and find donkbets annoying. Donkers should be punished and you have the hand to do it. And the last reason to raise flop is that there are quite a few turn/river cards that could hurt your hand, but there aren't many that improve your hand.

Once you decide to call the turn, the same arguments are valid for raising the turn.

As played I fold river, since you only beat K9 (the dog [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] ) . And the odds are not that good.
