? The first two spiderman movies are as good as a movie based on a comic book can get (other than Sin City) imo. Granted, the third one sucked, and none of them are, or aspire to be, art, but they're still good movies.

Check out Superman with Christopher Reeves, Batman (Begins?) with whats that dudes name...Wow, I can't remember the lead, but Michael Caine and Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman are in it. Those were both good movies. I thought the first Spiderman was decent, thought the 2nd was terrible, and therefore I didn't bother to see the third, which I heard was even worse.

I'd put the X-men movies ahead of spiderman movies, superman ahead of spider man, and batman begins ahead.

Mostly for the fact that all these movies had great actors (in order by movie mentione: X-men: Ian Mclellan, Hugh jackman, Patrick Stewart. Superman: Gene Hackman. Batman Begins: Liam Neeson, Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Ken Watanabe, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman) Instead of Toby Maguire, who basically just plays a big pussy in Spiderman 1,2. (And I'd assume his other movies. I never saw the horse one)

And weren't directed by the man who did the MASTERFUL camera work on Xena the warrior princess and Hercules, but instead, as in the case of Christopher Nolan, did the amazing Memento and Prestige.

idk man. IMDB agrees with me on Batman Begins at least.

I'd definitely put Batman Begins as the best superhero movie ever, and X-Men 2 and Spiderman 2 rank up there.

I also have a soft spot for The Crow, The Hulk, Dolph Lundgren's The Punisher, and Hellboy

The X-Men flicks had the benefit of good actors, but they weren't very good films. At least the first two. I'd put the first Spidey film easily above those.
