Just weird that it would be 350BB. And not 200BB, 400BB like most games.

In case you didnt make it there, it is actually a 10/25 game, not 10/20. It usually only runs on saturday night from what i understand, and when i looked last saturday there was not one player under the age of 50 in it. looked to have about $60-$70k on the table from my best estimate.

I stuck with the 1/2 both times I have been there so far, and am up $840 in about 15 hours total. Will probably move up to 2/5 the next time, as i watched a little and it looked very soft.

[/ QUOTE ]

It is in fact the softest 2/5 game in the history of mankind.

Do they have a poker room rate at mountaineer? or is there any decent inexpensive hotels close by to stay?

It's not a poker room rate. It's a "Roaring 20's" Players club rate. Same card that's used for Slots and Poker.

Also the poster asking about my "buddy" playing 10/20, I don't know who that is. If you're talking about Max McGuffin, he was a kid I played MTG with when he was 15/16 and I lived in Columbus. A year or two after I moved back home he committed the armed robberies.
Here's the Max McGuffin story.

I live in Robinson, and am tryin to figure out which room would be better between Wheeling and Mountaineer?

I prefer playing 5/10 Omaha, but if the 1/2 is as soft as everyone says, you have to go where the +EV is!

Any suggestions?

Go to Mountaineer -- straight up 60 to CLinton, then 30 to Chester, then 2S. Less than an hour, more rooms.

Wheeling's quick for you too, so I would just go to the one where a wait is less likely.

Mountaineer spread PLO this weekend, but I would avoid it. 1/2, no cap.
